What issues do you care about?
I care about climate change, voting rights, and infrastructure.
How do you balance life and civic engagement to live a civically engaged life?
I check my schedule weekly and determine the amount of hours per week that I can set aside for civic engagement work, keeping in mind life and homework.
Life moves fast, so does the news. How do you stay up to date and engaged with politics? (Besides IssueVoter of course!)
I read the news on multiple news apps, like the BBC, SkyNews, France 24, CNN, Apple News, etc., and I keep up with verified news outlets on Twitter.
Why did you start using IssueVoter?
I found IssueVoter when I was looking for a way to send my congressperson my personal opinion on a bill that they would be voting on. Fortunately, Google was able to recommend this organization to me.
What is your favorite part of using IssueVoter?
It is quite easy to view what is being voted on in Congress, as the website explains the components of the bills and allows users to see the differing opinions on each bill.
